Models
Models
The model menu lists every engine available to you in one searchable place. Select the engine that fits the work. Hypheus is the instrument around it.
The menu
- Auto and Hypheus models, reached through your Crowe ID, come first.
- Other providers follow, grouped by who makes the model. Search appears when the list is long.
- Models above your plan are still shown, disabled and labelled with the plan they need. They are listed last under Available on a higher plan.
Models included with a plan
Hypheus models are served through Crowe ID and are included with a Crowe Logic plan. What your plan includes, and the limits that apply, appear in Settings, then Account. Your entitlement is checked when a session starts, on each turn and on each approval. Plans and pricing are at crowelogic.com/pricing.
Bring your own key
In Settings, open Models to connect OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or OpenRouter. Enter the key in the secure field. Hypheus stores it in the editor's secret storage and never in a project file. You are billed by the provider, and that usage does not count against your Crowe Logic plan. You still sign in with your Crowe ID to use Hypheus.
Provider chat through your own key has not yet been fully qualified end to end. If a provider returns an error, see Troubleshooting.
What leaves your Mac
The model you select receives your message and whatever the agent reads on your behalf, including file contents and command output you approve. Terminal buffers are not exposed to the agent. Choose the engine with that in mind for sensitive work.
